Your friends and family in Cyprus would need to check the costs with their local providers to call a +44 mobile number.
The cost to them is entirely dependent on the network operator or landline provider they use to make the call. We would suggest that the check the cost before dialing.

You must recharge minutes at least once every fifteen (15) months or your SIM card will be permanently deactivated. Access to your online account and travel journal will not be blocked.

You must use a charged service (such as making a call, or sending a text message), or recharge within any six (6) month period, otherwise your remaining credit will expire. If you do not purchase additional credit at the time of purchase or recharge within one (1) month of the initial use of the service, any remaining initial included credit balance will expire (this is the credit balance that comes included with the SIM card excluding promotions that include more than $20 call credit).

The full credit balance (including any remaining initial included call credit) will be automatically re-instated if you recharge your account within fifteen (15) months of last use, or purchase a new SIM card from Customer Service after fifteen (15) months.

After 2 months of inactivity your US number may be changed when you go to use it again. If it has changed you will receive the new US number via text message. You can ensure that you retain your US number indefinitely by paying 50c per month. Simply visit www.rechargeminutes.com, click on the 'Get US number' menu option, enter your number and PIN, and click on the 'Keep Number' button (in the Account status section).

Make sure you study the user guide and try BOTH dialing methods. If call back does not occur when you dial +44 then you may need to use the pre-fix dial which is explained in the user guide.

At the moment the 004 SIMs are a standard size. The only micro-sim we provide is with the French pay-monthly iphone tariff, but we anticipate them to become more widespread in the future. The global SIM is also a standard sized SIM. SIM cards can be cut to size to fit as a micro-SIM but we do not recommend this as it renders any guarantees void.
Unfortunately the global SIM will only provide voice and SMS with Blackberry devices although it is compatible for data on other Smartphones such as the iphones and HTC devices.
