The costs vary but if you use the rates calculator and enter the country you are in as ‘from’ and enter UK in the country you are calling ‘to’ you will see any relevant outbound and inbound call rates.
Top ups for Happy Movil are generally available at most retailers that sell top ups for other networks such as Vodafone or Orange. Try local supermarkets, mobile phone stores, kiosks, El Corte Ingles Shopping Centres. Hipercor, Supercor, Telecor, Opencor supermarkets. Most post offices and money exchange offices – Fexco, Western Union. Alsa Bus Shops and Alsa Airport shops, Kiosks, Gas Stations and Newsagents. The Happy Movil network is owned by The phone House group in Spain so if you are able to locate a Phone House store then you will be able to buy top ups there.
Unfortunately the French Orange Payg SIM can only be topped up with credit vouchers bought over the counter in France. You need to remember to top up within 6 months of the last top up otherwise the SIM and number will expire permanently. If you have purchased a voucher in France you may bring it back to the UK and add it to the handset providing you get good signal strength and the voucher is valid.
Providing you have followed the user guide, registered the SIM and received an Australian number beginning ‘04’ then your account should be active and registration will complete when you switch the phone on in Australia. Occasionally there is a delay with the confirmation text, or it may not arrive until you are in Australia, but if you have any doubts Optus can be contacted via the landline numbers in the Optus booklet.
For the quickest way to unlock your phone please refer to the email confirmation we sent you after you ordered. On the email there is an unlocking link at the bottom. All you need to do is click through on to that link (or click here; http://www.0044.co.uk/unlock.htm), enter the required details and codes will be automatically generated for you.

If you experience any problems with the automated unlocking process or your Nokia model is not listed please email us, include the following and we’ll create some new unlocking codes for you and return them by email. Please note that if the first codes generated by the web site did not work it may well indicate that your handset has multiple locks on it, but we’ll try new codes before you need to seek help from a local retailer.

    * The IMEI number – 15 digits long and should be on, or inside your phone. Alternatively, if you press * # 06 # it will be displayed on your screen.
    * The handset make and model number (we are only able to unlock Nokia handsets).
    * The current UK network you are on and your UK mobile phone number.
    * Your order confirmation number and date of order.
We are currently reviewing whether we will continue supplying French Orange payg SIMs. It’s important for us to provide a service that is easy to use for customers and with some of the new anti-terrorism laws that have been passed the registration process is too complex to administer easily. Coupled with the high per minute rates and credit expiry periods on a French payg SIM this means it is not as viable as it has been in previous years. It is therefore unlikely that we will offer them in the future.

However, there are two alternative solutions you may wish to consider which are easier to use, will make you greater savings and are tried and tested solutions.

· If you travel to France regularly or perhaps own a property there, plan to look for a property or be based there for work then we’d recommend our alternative 0044 French SIM solution which has a genuine French ‘06’ mobile number, FREE incoming calls and rates starting at only 19p/min for calls; http://www.0044.co.uk/Pay-Monthly/France-Pay-Monthly.htm They are available on short terms deals from only one month so offer great flexibility.

· If you only plan to visit for a short break, a business trip or annual holiday and don‘t plan to visit anymore frequently then our 0044 Global SIM with a UK number, free incoming calls and call rates from 30p/min may be an alternative; http://www.0044.co.uk/Global-sim-card.htm

Please do feel free to email us with any further questions, once you’ve had the chance to review the above. At the moment we do not plan to provide a French payg option and we’d also advise to be wary of alternative sources for these payg French SIMs, such as eBay or Amazon, where registration processes may be unauthorised.
If your +1 USA number is not easily located or printed on the SIM card holder there are two ways to obtain it. Firstly, before you leave log on to your Global SIM or US SIM account (as detailed in your user guide) and you can retrieve it there. You can also elect to pay a small monthly charge ($0.50 cents) to keep it live all year round. Secondly, it will be sent via text as soon as you arrive in the USA and connect to a network signal.

Our 0044 Global SIM would be the best product to suit your needs. For all call rates please visit the 0044 global SIM page by clicking here; http://www.0044.co.uk/global-sim-card.htm and under the tariff table you’ll see ‘Outgoing calls’ – click on that link and it will enable you to select a preferred currency and calculate different call rates depending on where you are calling from and to. It also details cost to receive a call (if applicable), SMS rates plus other useful and important information if you scroll down further. Click on ‘Coverage’ and it will display all territories where the SIM has coverage as well as highlighting in which it is free to receive a call or where an incoming call charge applies.
Unlike country specific SIMs that have been designed to offer the greatest benefit to customers who spend most of their time in a specific country, the international SIM service has been designed specifically for the international traveler. We recognise the problems of roaming with UK networks and have delivered a unique product that enables cost effective international mobile phone roaming across multiple destinations.

The international SIM is in a unique position to offer a global service because of its network status and patented call connection technology. The service combines the convenience of mobile technology with the value of a landline service to ensure that not only do you save money but you also receive greater quality. Innovation has lead to the discovery that by connecting your call via a central platform you can save up to 80%. Hence the calling process differs slightly; when you make an outgoing call your handset will actually direct the call via the platform and then call you back to connect the call.
