On the global SIM it will be suspended after 6 months of non use. If you make a call or send a text within a 6 month period the credit is kept live.

Our data rate is shortly to be updated to £1.99pMB - please advsie on which page you saw £3.99pMB. The SIM is primarily for voice and text - data is not as competitive.

The servcie is probably not available until 2012 but the global SIM will provide data in the UK & Europe at resonable rates in the meantime.
