Prepaid UK internet simcard

Hello,

We are coming to the UK for vacation and need to have pre-paid mobile internet.

We have the 3G version of the Samsung Tab 10.1 tablet and am looking for a pre-paid simcard to plug into it purely for internet connection. I find easily cards for Gernay, Spain, Holland, USA, Thailand and many other countries but have yet to find a UK option.

Can you advise me if there is such at reasonable Mb cost ... e.g. 5Gb in Germany is about 45 pounds.

We are about to launch a UK solution in the forth coming weeks so please watch this space! We hope to retail the product in the region of £29.00 for 5Gb. I will keep you posted.

This will be a PRE-PAID card I hope, where you buy the amount of Internet access you want ... for instance 5Gb.
This will allow visitors to UK to make use of your product.
There are around 30 MILLION visitors to UK each year. Almost EVERYONE travelling wants access to the internet these days via 3G Tablets, 3G Laptops or Smartphones, so figure out how many new customers you'd get if they could buy a PRE-paid simcard enough for internet access during their stay.
You're talking about a MAJOR new market that's not addressed at the moment.

Maybe I have missed it but but if not I hope it won't be delayed too long.

The servcie is probably not available until 2012 but the global SIM will provide data in the UK & Europe at resonable rates in the meantime.

Now it's coming near the end of 2012 .. what is the status of the service expected in 2012 ???
