Is it better to always enter 1 before the PIN when using the UK SIM Card in the UK or are there occasions when this is would be a disadvantage in terms of costs?vantagous

Please refer to the user guide for the SIM you have - it will detail when you use a pre-fix PIN and when not to plus which pre-fix to use.
