Hi, does your sim normally support 3G speeds ?, and can I select the network to connect to - e.g. O2, Vodafone in the UK. Is it possible to use VOIP apps with this sim ?

Yes, generally the speed on the global SIM is 3G but VOIP is not always guaranteed to work.
