I am going to France for about 3 weeks with my IPad 2 and want access to wifi in the gite for Emails etc. What do you recommend please.?

You'd be best with a 30 day French data SIM which will give you unlimited data with a tablet providing it is unlocked and you can receive and Orange France 3G signal.
