call costs to chinese mobile

Well, it is not massively different compared to plusnet's normal charge to chinese mobiles (about 60p / min!!!) so I'm definitely not complaining, I'm really impressed with the service, just interested - my call for 51 minutes cost £1.16, so even including the connection charge that's a little over 2p/min where the page says 1p/min.

I really wanted to check whether there's any difference between weekend and weekday (daytime or evening) rates - i.e. if I call tomorrow, should I expect to pay the same as I did on Saturday?  Would very much appreciate your comments again please.

OK, further to previous message, in case this is useful to anyone else - Plusnet call charges for calls to 0044's china number look to be 2p/min for daytime, evening and weekend calls.  

The 0844 869 number is billed as g8 according to EE's tariff guide (http://e-gain.s3.amazonaws.com/external/content/Ts%20and%20Cs/EE%20Broadband%20Price%20Guide.pdf.pdf ) and Plusnet's tariff guide ( http://www.plus.net/home-broadband/tariffs/ ) states the charges for that are 2p/min as above, at the time of writing.  The guy from Plusnet that I spoke to was, while very nice, not very accurate about their call charges being the same as BT...

I also made an error in that Plusnet's rates are currently about 40p/min to a chinese mobile phone.  I thought it was more, but even so, at about 1/20 of the cost, 0044 is a winner for me!
