rather than have it delivered? We'll only be at our postal address for a few days and can't take the risk of waiting for delivery...

Can I use the access number method to call a mobile in Australia and still get it for 1p/min
I want to call my sister in Australia from my BT landline using the access number method. Will it only cost 1p/min even if I call her on a mobile (I think an Australian sim card)?

Problems receiving text messages
When my phone is switched on, I receive sms and calls ok.
However, when the phone is switched off or if I don't have a reception sms messages sent to me, just don't arrive, they get lost somewhere and are never delivered to my phone.
I have contacted customer services who suggest that I change network, done. changed to vodafone from O2 and repeated the test, still nothing. If this is a common thing with 0044, then I may as well wait till I get to the states and buy AT&T go phone, which would seem less hassle.
Is anyone else having these problems?
