Hi,
You need to get your handset unlocked before travelling - bestto do this at a local independent mobile shop in the UK. The New Zealand SIM and our global SIM will both work in an Iphone althogh data is expensive in NZ on the global SIM. If you have an iphone 4 you'll need to request a micro-SIM after you order but an iphone 3 will accept a standard SIM. The NZ SIM offers cheaper data and top ups are bought locally.

Yes, you can use the Virgin SIM in an iPhone 4 but you'd need to request it as a micro-SIM after you have ordered it on-line. Data is available if you purchase top ups over the counter in Australia and you buy bundles for as little as $5.00AD for a 50MB bundle.
